How in the world will I quilt this?

I've finished Katie's quilt top and now I need to figure out a way to quilt it. The dog's tongue is hanging free. I thought it'd be something for her to play with, Bill thinks it'll give her something to suck on. It's bigger than it looks cause the top row is hanging over the pole. Since babies don't use quilts for warmth any more they can put it on the floor for her to play on. I think her big sister will like it too. The dog does look like their dog. Putting the pieces together I didn't realize that until it was done and I got a good luck at it.

It's been almost 3 years ago

TuTu means Grandmother. Since her other grandparents are Pup and PaPa, I thought I'd be something short and easy. She only calls us grandma and grandpa and has no idea of who's TuTu.
We were on a cruise when we found out we were going to be grandparents for the 1st time. I was so excited I went ashore in Maui and found a quilt store and did a good amount of shopping. It looks like I couldn't figure out what pattern to quilt and just did free motion all over. The back of the quilt is a very nice pink flannel from California.

I used the left over fabric to make a cloth book for Kalissa. I was even able to use the fat quarter of cats that I'd been holding onto forever.

Let's get organized

We spent the morning with friends in Kathy & Stuart's backyard sorting baby clothes for Katie. Many of them had never been on since both girls were over 8 lbs when they were born. Do you have any idea of how tiny those 0 to 8 lbs outfits are? Lots of friends had donated their outgrown outfits too. We put them in plastic bins according to how many months. Kalissa and Kailyn started out helping and ended up playing. (Can't blame them) Bill & Stuart got the crib put up even without the directions. (Just in case the baby's early)

Kalissa came for a visit. She's taking the girls favorite ride.
