A storm from the Figi Islands brought some big
waves our way. The tide was so high, it left a shallow pool for the kids to play in. You could feel the vibrations on the wooden pier. No one was trying to fish today, just looking. Hueneme is used to waves, just not big waves. It didn't bother the birds or the brown pelicans.
