We cruised to the Hawaiian Islands again

Before you sail you have to go to a muster drill. I'm demonstrating what you do before you step off the side of the boat into the water

A snack outside by the uncovered pool -- before seas got roug
Our room on Baja deck which is deck 11

This is in Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii, the fruit can be eaten but it smells like skunk

This is Volcano National Park

There was snow on the tops of both mountains

Leaving Hilo, we'd had lunch earlier on our tour at the lanai gardens. It was a buffett of yummy Hawaiian food.

In Honolulu from our balcony docked at the Aloha Tower

Sunrise coming into Kauai from our balcony

We took a Back Country 4WD tour in a van that held 12 people. The tunnel is old and on the old sugar cane land. The trucks would haul the cane from the fields to the mill. Sugar cane stopped production in 1974.

Site of some blow holes and a picnic we had there

Off road driving to the old crater

Leaving Kauai from our balcony. Saw a whale doing tail slaps - 9 in a row

In Lahaina, Maui we had a wonderful greeting at the dock.

On the way back, we had 4+ days and nights of very rough seas and high winds. We were glad it was nice on the islands. It was still nice on the ship but you had to walk with one hand to yourself and the other touching the vessel. Bill played with The Ukulele Masters at the Aloha Oe Farewell Show. It was too bumpy for me to go on stage in the big Theater but he was glad he did it.
